The Summer Cooling Program will run 07/01/2024 through 9/30/2024. The program will offer the following assistance:
- Payment towards your electric bill (PIPP customers are also eligible.)
- Air conditioner and/or fan
- Central air unit repair (up to $1500)
Who is Eligible:
- Those 60 or over OR
- Those with a medical condition that requires air conditioning (documentation necessary) OR
- Those who have an electric disconnect notice or have been disconnected
- Are within 175% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
- Those with PIPP default or first time PIPP customers
Items Needed for Appointment:
- All household income for the past 30 days
- Citizenship for everyone in the household
- Proof of Disability – if applicable (Verification must state disability on the documentation)
- Electric bill and gas bill
- If you are self-employed, please provide your most recent 1040 and Schedule 1 forms
