POLICY:
NOCAC Head Start requires a Family Information Board in their classroom or outside the door for families to gather information.
PROCEDURES:
- NOCAC has an open door policy that means families are welcome to visit as they wish.
- The Family Information Board will include the following:
- Classroom Newsletter
- Lesson Plan (please exclude the individualization section for confidentiality)
- Important Dates (field trips, special themed weeks, closings, etc.)
- Staff Hours
- Classroom Daily Schedule
- Upcoming Events
- Reminders
- Volunteer/Visitor Badges and Tip Sheets
