Classroom Family Information Board

POLICY:

NOCAC Head Start requires a Family Information Board in their classroom or outside the door for families to gather information.

PROCEDURES:

  1. NOCAC has an open door policy that means families are welcome to visit as they wish.
  2. The Family Information Board will include the following:
    1. Classroom Newsletter
    2. Lesson Plan (please exclude the individualization section for confidentiality)
    3. Important Dates (field trips, special themed weeks, closings, etc.)
    4. Staff Hours
    5. Classroom Daily Schedule
    6. Upcoming Events
    7. Reminders
    8. Volunteer/Visitor Badges and Tip Sheets
