Curriculum

POLICY:

NOCAC Head Start/Early Head Start will implement a developmentally appropriate, research-based early childhood curricula that aligns with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and will include additional curricular enhancements as appropriate.

  1. The resources needed to support the implementation of the curriculum are:
    1. The Creative Curriculum 5th Edition,
    2. Child Plus Desired Results Developmental Profile
    3. Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework: Ages Birth to Five (ELOF)

    5. Ohio Department of Education Early Learning Content Standards

    8. Transportation Safety Education Curriculum
    9. Talking about Touching: A Personal Safety Curriculum

    11. Many Languages One Classroom

    14. More than Letters, More than Magnets, More than Counting, More than Painting, More than Singing, Much More than Counting
    15. Head Start Nutrition Education Curriculum
  2. Staff will follow the Lesson Plan Policy when creating learning experiences for children.
