POLICY:
NOCAC Head Start will plan and implement additional transition services for children and families with IEPs.
PROCEDURES:
Teachers will:
- Provide the Introduce Me! Handout to families of children with IEPs to be distributed and completed at the final parent/teacher conference in order for families to share with the kindergarten teacher.
- Attend all IEP transition to kindergarten meetings scheduled by the LEA to support the child and family as they transition to a new setting.
