NOCAC is hiring a Summer Food Program Site Supervisor to lead one of our local youth meal sites. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you’ll help ensure children in our community have access to nutritious meals in a safe, welcoming environment.

This role is ideal for students studying education, social work, public health, nonprofit management, nutrition, or anyone who enjoys working with youth and taking initiative.

What You’ll Be Doing

Spend your summer outdoors leading a fun, active meal site for local kids!

You’ll run the day-to-day operations of one of our outdoor summer meal locations — making sure children have access to healthy meals while also creating a positive, welcoming space they enjoy coming to.

Your summer will include:

• Picking up meals and setting up your outdoor site each day
• Serving healthy meals to kids in a friendly, upbeat environment
• Keeping things organized, safe, and running smoothly
• Leading games, simple crafts, and outdoor activities
• Encouraging kids to participate and have fun
• Recruiting and guiding volunteers who want to help
• Being the “go-to” leader at your site
• Wrapping up each day knowing you made a difference

This isn’t a desk job — you’ll be moving, interacting, problem-solving, and creating a space where kids feel welcome and excited to show up.

We’ll provide training and support, but you’ll have real independence and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years or older
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a good driving record
• Comfortable working independently
• Organized and dependable
• Enjoys working with youth

Schedule: Monday-Friday, late morning to early afternoon.  Starts June 1 and ends July 28.

Hours: 20-25 hours per week.

Wage:  $16.29/Hour

Background checks and screenings required.
