NOCAC Head Start Preschool is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team. If you have a genuine love for children, a creative spirit, and a desire to inspire lifelong learning and growth, we want to hear from you.

Along with assisting in the classroom, these positions will assist in driving the small bus in order to help the preschoolers get to school. Obtaining a CDL will be a requirement.  Training will be done in house, on work time and paid for by NOCAC.

Details for the current opening

  • Teacher Assistant, classroom (Archbold): 34/hrs weekly. M-TH, 8.5 hour days. Fridays off.  June and July off. *The hourly pay noted below is based on applicants with a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. If you have a CDA or college diploma, pay rate is higher:
    • $16.29/hourly wage
    • Once CDL is obtained = $17.86/hourly wage
  • Teacher Assistant, classroom (Bryan): 34/hrs weekly. M-TH, 8.5 hour days. Fridays off.  June and July off. *The hourly pay noted below is based on applicants with a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. If you have a CDA or college diploma, pay rate is higher:
    • $16.29/hourly wage
    • Once CDL is obtained = $17.86/hourly wage

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience working in an Early Childhood Education program, preferred.
  • Must be able to stand for periods at a time
  • Must be able to work in a classroom environment that is physically flexible to the needs of children ages 3-5.
  • Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and be insurable through NOCAC’s vehicle insurance carrier. Must be over the age of 21.
