Summer Food Service Program
Eat Healthy & Have Summer Fun!
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is funded by the Ohio Department of Education through the United States Department of Agriculture and local United Way agencies. SFSP was established to ensure that low-income children ages 1 to 18 (or up to age 21 with an IEP) receive nutritious meals in the summer months. These free meals meet federal nutrition guidelines and are provided to all children attending the program. No applications are necessary and no registration is required however all children under age 5 must be accompanied by a parent.
The SFSP will provide lunches from June through August. Sites are located in Defiance, Fulton, Paulding, and Williams counties. Fun activities are also offered to promote healthy minds and bodies. Meals will be served Monday through Friday at these locations except for July 4th.
